Ingredients:

1 medium garlic bread loaf, processed into a crumb

500g white button mushrooms

2 eggs

1 cup plain flour

¼ cup parsley, finely chopped

Salt to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

Method:

1. Place processed garlic bread crumb onto a tray and place in oven on 160°C to dry out for approximately 3-5 minutes. Remove from oven and put inside medium bowl. Add in the finely chopped parsley and mix to combine.

2. Place flour in a bowl, and whisk eggs in another bowl.

3. Coat mushrooms in flour first, dip in the whisked egg and finally, coat in the garlic crumb mixture. Repeat until all mushrooms are coated.

4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan on a medium-high heat. Cook mushrooms for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until golden. Remove from heat and transfer to a plate lined with paper towel. Repeat until all mushrooms are cooked.

5. Season garlic crumbed mushrooms with salt and serve with your choice of sauce!
